2010-2014 F150 RAPTOR AMBIENT LED LIGHTING KIT

Review

Overall I was pretty well satisfied with the lighting itself. I did encounter some issues though ; 3 to be specific. The first is in regards to the adhesive provided. While I did clean the attachment points of grease and debris, the adhesive still had extreme difficulty attaching. I ended up have to use super glue. The 2nd issue I encountered was with the ambient light kit's fuse I had to buy a fuse that would fit since the truck's original was too small, and I had to swap fuse locations on the tap and use a spare since the info on my card was inaccurate and actually directed me to the ABS fuse. Not a huge deal, but just wanted you guys to be aware. 3rd issue was in regards to the trim. I'm not sure if it's because it's a raptor, but my trim didn't have the split mentioned in the video, so I ended up have to pull up the entire center console to wire the center console ambient light. Overall I'm satisfied with the lights itself, but I as someone who is doing a lot of this for the first time ever, would find it a little extra helpful if the instructions were checked for 100% accuracy. A feature where you can look up the VIN for compatibility would be awesome. Don't sweat it, just figured I'd let you guys know for future reference.

Nice looking added feature

I gave this four stars instead of five only for the reason of the LED lights not adhering to the surfaces even after proper cleaning I had to use the supplied silicone. The adhesive backing could’ve been stronger.
