The sponge side does not get rock hard when dried out. It does a great job cleaning. Scrubbing side takes a bit longer on certain cooking. Guess it can’t be much of a problem but the sponge and scrubber peel apart after a certain amount of time.

I love these sponges. They have a great scrubby side and the sponge lasts quite a long time and doesn’t fall apart.

I bought enough for my adult kids as well as my step-mom. Now I am the clearinghouse for replacements as they all love these sponges!
