TOBAC + MUSK CANDLE

Addictive tobacco aroma

Reminds me of my favorite personal fragrance and has a pleasant throw, not too strong but definitely present. I am intrigued by this company and will be ordering again.

Not strong enough

I was very excited thinking I had finally found a candle that would remind me of my grandfathers pipe tobacco, but sadly was left disappointed. For $39, I was hoping it would be strong enough to smell, but it was not. I moved the candle from my living room to our bedroom and after an hour I could still barely smell it. Also, while I understand the idea of the being in a tumbler glass for the purpose of reusing it for a drink, it’s ridiculously small for the price. Will not be buying again.

Problem 1: Wax did not fill the entire vessel. Toward the bottom, both of the candles I ordered had significant air pockets, visible through the clear glass. How did these make it through QC? Problem 2: Double wicks are present to prevent unburned wax, but if both are lit, the candle burns twice as fast (but doesn't increase the throw, which is average at best). On a candle this size, that makes little sense other than to maintain the cocktail-glass schtick. Problem 3: Matches are included. Another gimmick. Most of us who burn candles already have a reliable lighting solution (or two). That's like, well, including plastic cups with every purchase of bourbon. Will not be a repeat customer.
