Not Just for XK Owners!
I’ll probably never be in a position to restore an XK120, but I bought the book because I’ve restored a couple of Series One Land-rovers in the past, but I like Jaguars and I love all the engineering and oily bits. Can be read as a story, full of historical snippets and contains tips and tricks (and frustrations) relevant to any form of mechanical restoration. Great book. Thank you.

A most interesting and well written book.
Sadly I don’t have an XK120, but have rebuilt an MGA and TR3 and reading the progress, and the trials and tribulation the author has dealt with over the course is both interesting and enlightening.
There are many problems and difficulties to resolve during a rebuild and I found it fascinating how he dealt with them.
We all have our own constraints and restrictions be they financial or space but the processes are much the same.
We all have the same end result in mind, a car you can enjoy and be proud of, and the overcoming of the challenges.
A very enjoyable read, many thanks.
