Front Hood Gas Strut Kit

These front struts open the frunk as far as it can open, much more than with the stock prop up rod. I had to press pretty hard against the hinge to get the strut in place. The opposite for the rear engine lid strut, which opens the engine lids several degrees less than the stock prop rod. It's not a big deal, but something you should be aware of.

I installed one. And it held the hood up with no problem. So well worth having both. It's nice and sturdy.

Perfect fit, great product. Would be easier to install with the help of a buddy or girlfriend. Requires only 20 minutes.
