Neakasa M1 Plus & M1 Lite Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box with Step Bundle

Litterbox is good overall! I’ve had a different automatic litterbox in the past and it’s pretty comparable. Better in some ways, about the same in others. This one notifies me when the waste bin is full and stops moving so it doesn’t smear everywhere. The last one I had would keep going even when full. The waste bin also lasts an extra day or two which is nice. It does a really good job with its cleaning cycle. It goes slow and goes back and forth a couple times to make sure everything ends up in the waste bin that needs to. The smell isn’t too bad even though it’s open. My cats feel comfortable going into it (even my chunky one) and they all took to it immediately. It even tells me how much litter is there so I know when I need to add more. I haven’t done a deep clean yet, so not sure how that will be but I have high hopes! Definitely looks easier than my last one… I really only have 2 problems with this. First, I got the step with the litterbox. I think it’s the grates (like how cows won’t go on a cattle guard), but my cats will NOT step on it. This isn’t a huge problem by itself, as my cats can still get into the litterbox. However it adds to my second problem… the litter goes EVERYWHERE. We have the fence up to try and contain it, but it doesn’t seem to help too much. My cats jump out of the litterbox (to avoid the step) and launch litter everywhere. I’m sure I will figure something out that helps or maybe my cats will start using the step. But for now it’s quite messy.

Perfect for my two

I bought the Neakasa M1 Lite after seeing my local cat cafe use the M1 Plus with their 20+ cats. Simple and easy to set up right out of the box. The air purifier step bundle was also a great buy with it. My oldest cat took to it immediately. Still working on my other to gravitate to using it, but he'll get there. It's very quiet, the sensors are responsive, and the cats love watching it work. I recommend to anyone who's in the market for an auto litter box.

easier to clean, however my cats hate the step stool with it. they try to jump over it and then jump out of it and liter goes everywhere as they try to avoid having to step out on it.. Not sure why they all do this. But all three do and are different breeds. It also seems to drag any wet litter from waste basket if getting close to full onto shell sometimes.
