Display Wall Frame for LEGO Speed Champions F1 Series 12-in-1 / Horizontal

Very happy with the display. It seems to be very well made, feels sturdy and looks fantastic. I dropped a star from my review because I purchased the RGB lighting version, and unfortunately the lighting doesn’t work very well at all. The remote only operates intermittently and only seems to work when it wants to. My main concern, however, is that the power plug and cable become exceptionally hot during use. They get so hot that I feel the need to disconnect them several times a day as a precaution. I have tried the unit in various plugs, but the plug becomes hot regardless, so I can only assume this is also affecting the inconsistent operation of the remote. I have checked the remote itself and this seems to be operating perfectly well which leads me to believe its the lighting system itself.
