I’ve been buying Plus44 merch since the Suzuka 2022 drop, and I can’t be the only person who’s noticed the decline in quality and the increasingly inconsistent sizing. Meanwhile, the prices have continued to climb. Based on the product photos, I felt comfortable spending $200 on this hoodie because it looked heavyweight and comparable to what I consider the best piece I’ve bought from Plus44: last year’s Shanghai Flaming Horse hoodie. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Instead, this is a much lighter-weight cotton hoodie that doesn’t feel like a premium garment deserving of its price tag.
