Replacement Sockets, C9 / E17, SPT1, Pack of 25, Green

I am familiar with the sockets, but it would be nice if they had instructions for how to correctly install them, so you don’t damage them.

Replacement socket for outdoor lights

Your replacement sockets appear to be made for strands that are 16 to 18 gauge wire. My strand is older and made with 12 gauge wire. Yes I had a problem using your socket. Solved the problem buy finding a short piece of 16 gauge wire, mounting the socket to it and then splicing that wire into my strand of lights. That worked but I did that while on a tall extension ladder. I’m nearly 80 years old now making this harder.
