Performance 65D Durable Urethane Casting Resin

Had Me Worried...

The first time I used the 65D, I expected a fast set up and demold time. I panicked when the resin was still super flexible, even flexing with the silicone mold! I didn't realize that it cures more after it sets. Giving it just a little more time, the pieces demolded just fine and harden as they cure further. The only thing that is only slightly detrimental (to me) is that I wish it would cure opaque instead of clearish. However, I added a bit of colorant to fix that. Overall, I think it is a really good product for producing tough, impact-resistant pieces.

I loved the way it worked and set up for casting my project. But it turned out to be way to "hard" or stiff. I am going to be recasting it but I want to get some "samples" of the different durometers to make a better choice on the next cast. I sent in a request last week for the samples or more detailed description of the durometer hardness and flexibility.
