So I was a little skeptical of the reviews when I first purchased this vest. AND I was even more so, after I realized I purchased too large a size. BUT let me tell you, I am very impressed. I am 4 hours post hike in 92° weather and I am still cool. I didnt get over heated at all. Where my backpack touched my back was the coolest part, and that normally is the hottest during a hike. I liked the product enough that I am going to keep the oversized vest for my spouse, and get a smaller size for myself.
