LOVE the waistband!

I really love the look and feel of this new waistband! It's so much stronger and my phone in my skirt pocket no longer drags the waist down. It's also has a cinching effect if you have a soft middle like I do that's very cute and gives a fit and flair silhouette. If you prefer a looser fit, consider a size up than usual, or spend a bit of time stretching your band some before wearing. I love that the pockets are red on the inside too, so cute! 10/10!

I’m wearing it right now! I really like the new waistband - it’s much more comfortable and feels secure without feeling like it’s digging in the way the old elastic sometimes did.

I have so many of Maya's skirts, so I already knew they were incredible, but I also really enjoy the new waistband!!! I've always thought that the transition from shirt to skirt with the old skirt waistbands were a bit... I don't know. casual? but these thicker waistbands really make an outfit work, plus the additional staying power. The skirts are also just as nice as the others, great fabric and texture quality, beautiful art, functional pockets. Sad to see that these skirts aren't coming back, but looking forward to trying the new cotton ones!
