I really appreciate how cute and stylish these Pilates grip socks are. I’m very impressed with the quality of the color, design, and additional details (like the bows), which did not fade or deteriorate after washing and air-drying. In terms of performance, I practice a range of Pilates and Pilates-adjacent workouts, including classical and contemporary Pilates, heated sculpt, and Lagree. These socks are well-suited for the vast majority of these styles. However, if you practice at a studio that uses Balanced Body Allegro series reformers, I did notice that some of the grip material along the edges of the socks can peel or tear slightly over time. That said, the wear was minor and not enough to stop me from using them, as the socks still provide excellent stability due to the tight, structured cotton construction (which is, again, very high quality). I’d simply recommend a bit of caution if you’re doing extensive balance work on the sandpaper-like gray grip surface found on Allegro reformers. Overall, I would absolutely still recommend this brand and wear these socks for 90–95% of my regular workouts.
