AlphaCool Polar Cooling Ice Vest

Freezes like a solid block of ice!

This is the 2nd one of these vests that I've purchased. I adored the 1st one because after placing it in the freezer it remained pliable, easy to put on and nice and cold. In the same amount of time in the freezer, this 2nd vest FROZE SOLID! I thawed it in the tub and tried refreezing it and the 2nd time was even worse! I wrote to complain about this and never heard back from anyone if this is now the product and customer service standard, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

It's definitely an ice vest that feels good when it's hot. But the straps are really bad. I just got mine out of the freezer, put it on for the first time, and the left bottom strap tore right through the plastic material the vest is made of. So i can hang it over my shoulders, but i can't tighten it anymore.

Relief!

South Carolina summers extremely hot and humid. I used the vest twice so far and kept me from overheating while cutting the lawn. 2 hours in the freezer and the vest stayed cool for just over an hour while using in the direct sun.
