Conophytun chauviniae Cluster, 3-8 heads cluster

I bought two different plants from Secret succulent Villa and my other purchase I absolutely love but these came in with the stem fully dead. I know about the life and growth cycle of these particular plants so I feel very confident to say that the plant was not simply in a dormant state the leaves themselves were very healthy and plump it was the stem that grows the root system. I examined it very thoroughly I trimmed some back and throughout the entire stem there was no life in it at all. I did section out and cut off the healthy leaves in hopes of propagating but it's the simple fact that I paid to have a multi-headed cluster for a reason and now I'm left with a few tiny singles.... I'm really hoping that I can get this is she resolved and made right but for now two stars is all I can give and it would have been one star except the leaves were very decently healthy and plump.
