I am usually towing a boat or trailer so I bought a folding e-bike. For the sidecar kit I used 3/16" a marine plywood deck with a collapsible dog crate mounted with 3/4" cable clamps with the holes and hardware provided with the kit. The kit is easy to attach and bike and sidecar fit nicely in the back of my Jeep.
