Rad little reso uke

I got the concert mahogany uke. The reso cover plate is so cute. Very attractive instrument. It's louder that a standard uke but not insanely loud (like a reso guitar). If you want to get a more edgy sound out of your uke, then this is the one for you. Also, it came with a very nice hardshell case. I think it's my favorite 4-string non-baritone uke (I have a lot of favorites, okay??)

Sound Smith Resonator Ukulele

I previously had a Gretsch Resonator Ukulele and wasn't thrilled about it. I found out about Sound Smith and they took the time to show me a comparison of the Gretsch verse their resonator ukulele. I am super happy with the purchase and the nice case that came with it was a true bonus. This is definitely worth the purchase!

Excellent ukulele

Really pleased with my purchase eventually, i bought this after a You Tube review and it was just what I was looking for as the only option in the UK was Kala,and I like to keep the small businesses going. However a couple of points kept it off a 5 star rating, 1- G and C strings need tuning up every time I use it, hopefully this will eventually settle. 2- sound smith couldn’t supply with low G as requested. 3-Frets are pretty high so I had to dress them myself(not a problem). 4-nut is high and had sharp corners which I dressed. 5- took 16 days to deliver to UK. 6-cost me an additional $85 on custom fees and if I’d know this I’d probably bought a Kala resonator in the uk, set up and delivered in 3 days. Probably better within the USA market.
