A good and colorful piece
Thomas was my second project. My first was the walrus, many years ago. I will admit that I was not prepared to do the beak and headfirst. When you get Thomas, and he is a good-looking piece, I'd suggest working the body first. It is large folds and areas to work. The head and beak are a bit more complicated, and I think getting the techniques freshly revived would lead toward a more precise model. Mine looks good, but upon closer review you'll see areas for improvement.
